Packing for Ibiza in London is always a bit of a puzzle, because the mood/atmosphere and weather is so contrastingly different, that the things you keep in your wardrobe and the things you would want to wear in the british capital are as opposite as black and white.

I dig through the cupboards and boxes of clothes I have archived for Ibiza items, and try to imagine what it's like to be there. I'm not one of those people who can plan anything in advance, I follow my heart and I follow it to the heartbeat. So rather than thinking too much, I just grab whatever things I know from experience I will wear, even if they sound offputting to the extreme at packing time.

 That is, essentially, white adlib dresses, indian silk kaftans, white t shirts and shorts.



But oh, the dilemma, when instead of July in the heat of Summer, you've chosen May for your trip. Unreliable, indecisive May. What the hell goes on in May?? Is it raining? Is it warm? Silk kaftan? No...

You're forced to think "long jeans" and "sweaters". Not the kind of outfit you wanna be dreaming about but it does give you the opportunity to wear long sleeves in colours that are not very London.
