The leather jacket right now: The Bomber. Barbarella x Romp
Last week I attended the trunk show of Romp Clothing at the Claridge's in London and we had a little dress up party there. Romp is the clothing brand by designer extraordinaire and good friend Nina M.J. There I picked up her leather bomber jacket, and I've been inspired to take some self-portraits since.
The bomber style is very fresh for me right now, I've become bored of my jackets and I was looking for something a little off beat. This is perfect and the details are very special, such as the shape of the collar. It looks hot with simple jeans, the leather is soft and it's beautifully lined in silk. It's just so nice to wear something that you know has been crafted with care in small numbers. It's almost been made for you.
The Camden leather jacket by Romp can be purchased here. I'm also wearing these Jbrand jeans, and the pashmina is from one of my favourites providers, The Little Tibet in Spitafields who import tibetan silk.
A selection of alternative products for your perusal... Rick Owens, another of my favourite brands has an alternative leather jacket bomber-style that's pretty hot too:
