THE KING'S HEAD
We went to the Kings Head for my friend's birthday last night. I was feeling like wearing something a bit glam-grunge and so I came up with this ensemble of polka dot and jersey. The blouse is from & Other Stories, got it recently, I've been looking for something like it ever since I saw Freja in Saint Laurent last year. I paired it with my skirt of the moment, the twist jersey, which goes with everything or so I like to think. The Skovgaard wedges are so comfortable, I love them, although I did give quite a spectacle when I tripped off them as I was arriving to the venue. Ah, the fun of the sky-high wedge.
Here's a moment of romance with this handsome leopard. It was like a zoo in there!
"Roar like a tiger!" "Ok"
Do you see my giant mojito getting any smaller? Me neither. It was good, but so so huge and so so strong, I had to wait hours for it to get a little diluted while I sipped slowly. Before this I asked for something fruity and summery and was recommended this other concotion, which was not particularly light or fruity but I guess it's a hot weather drink, called the Negroni. It was Campari, vermouth and gin on the rocks, very good but also very strong and bitter, it reminded me of a dry martini. I'm always glad to try new drinks though, and they had a good selection of liquor.
