This is one of the coolest outfits ever, i love love love these jeans.
Observations and notes to self:
- I don't carry prints near my face very well because I have very small soft features that are already colourful (yellow hair, blue eyes, pink lips..). I do however like them on my lower half. Textured and printed trousers and skirts look cool on me.
- HOWEVER; A classic red lip looks a lot more current next to a print or light colour as opposed to a block colour, and that is coincidentally the only way I can pull off a print next to my face. Red lips look particularly dated against black. Try to avoid this.
Here's a better look at my Gothenburg boots. These booties are AWESOME, they look like chelsea boots but they are made of rubber, and are possibly the cutest, most comfortable rainboots ever. You can find them here on sale in a 39 or here in most other sizes. I'm wearing a 36, my usual size and they are snug.
Behold the lipstick:
This is Giorgio Armani lip maestro in Dark Velvet, by far the darkest most intense red I've ever worn. The texture is a cross between liquid lipstick and a stain, it stays wet like a lipstick, but it stains the lips to a nice medium red. It's comfortable to wear. I'm loving it.
Skin is NARS Tinted Moisturizer in Finland + Chanel #10 Les Beiges powder on top which looks very radiant although way too pink for me, I'm not crazy for how it makes my skin look, it brings out redness.
My experience with Les Beiges: The color selection is confusing, they are meant to be "healthy" colours, but they don't have enough pigment to be bronzers, but they have too much pigment to be setting powders. I'm just not sure what to do with it...It looks like the kind of product you could use in Summer when your body is darker than your face, as a sort of healthy glow natural bronzer, so we'll see if I get into them when that happens. For now, I love the formula but there's no good color for me. Let me know how you guys have been using them!
