I had a bit of a problem on Sunday when I arrived and realised I had forgotten my St.Tropez...Of course, they don't sell it over here. It didn't take me long to think of an alternative though, I constantly hear of people's favourites, namely Clarins and L'oreal. I thought it was a good time to get out of my comfort zone and try one or the other...I thought I couldn't go wrong with Clarins, since I'm using the Liquid Bronze on my face and love it.

I got the Creme Delicieuse (Delicious Self-Tanning Cream). I have yet to see how this will develop and fade. I will update you on that. But so far I'm extremely impressed/relieved. This is a fantastic self-tanner gel. It smells fine (like caramel biscuits?) doesn't feel heavy on the skin although it takes more than the St.Tropez mousse to dry. Doesn't leave a residue while it's developing, it's practically colourless, so you could apply this in the morning should you want to. And the colour is very pretty, even and very golden. Burnished, it reminds me of the Dior self-tanners. We'll see how it goes, i think it's a more expensive (35€ for 125 ml as opposed to 30 pounds for 200ml for the St.Tropez) but I do really like it, and it's available everywhere. Photos are after one application.

June is really excited to be with me this week : ) I miss her so...!
