RECORDING MARATHON II
So I've been working in the country. I'll upload the videos when I get to them, for the moment I have some photo diary pictures : ) I should've documented more, but oh well, my attention span is not my best asset. These are mostly pictures I've taken when I was either waiting or bored. The craft of the artist: 90% waiting time, this is true for models, actors, and you bet it's true for singers. You always wanna have a book, an apple, and a camera! That's my best advice. I also spend about 30% of my total working time reapplying my lipstick.
I like my makeup in the studio to be super minimal but intense.
We were very lucky yesterday, after what seemed like an endless week of rain, we had an amazing Spring Sunday. It was beautiful to spend in the countryside!
Good morning from my headquarters, all ready for ballet beautiful : )
Ballet leotard: Capezio
I've spent a lot of time in trains back and forth from London...
And cars back and from the house...
As I was browsing the internet on my iphone for vintage music I came upon Billie Holiday lyrics...This song has one of my favourite quotes of all time. I actually want this on my body!
"Love that cannot live yet never dies"
- So is this song now gonna be "produced by Peter and Chris"? - "Produced by Chris K and Peter dH., Mixed by Peter dH. - "Co-produced by Diana A." - I don't know if I would put that - "Interfering: Diana A." - That's more like it
The kitchen: Source of many peanut butter sandwiches and English Breakfast teas
Jumper: Alexander Wang
I gave up on dressing up to go to the studio weeks ago! It takes two hours to get there hopping from one train to another...It's freezing, rainy, and I spend most of the time lying on the floor and walking through the garden. Really very little chance for a posh outfit. Sneakers however, super comfy. Sneakers + moncler: most recommended combo. I was tempted to get out my UGGs actually, I did not because of the rain, otherwise I totally would have.
