INDIAN WEDDING

nov24-makeup2

Per request, here's the makeup I was wearing the other night. It was for an indian wedding so I knew I wanted to wear kohl in my eyes, very warm face and lips. The lip was actually darker but then I re-did them when I got home, I kind of prefer this version for every day, more bardot.

This was after I got home so the makeup doesn't look as fresh but I think it held up pretty well.

On my eyes I am wearing what it is still the best kohl in the world: Guerlain Terracota Loose.

Full Breakdown:

Prep: Skinceuticals Retexturing Activator, Charlotte Tilbury Magic Cream

Base: Giorgio Armani Maestro Fusion, Concealer: Giorgio Armani Maestro

Powder: Chanel Les Beiges

Cheeks: Charlotte Tilbury Filmstar, Chanel Frivole blush

Eyes: Dolce Vita palette by Charlotte Tilbury, Mascara: Charlotte Tilbury, Kohl: Guerlain

Brows: Hourglass Blonde retractable pencil

Lips: Kevyn Aucoin Medium Flesh, Charlotte Tilbury Penelope Pink lipstick

As always, i like to keep it fresh by prepping the skin before hand, applying the tiniest layer of foundation, and placing the powder just underneath the eyes/forehead/tip of the nose...it's all about placement, I've learnt that from binging on Lisa Eldridge videos! You don't need much at all to cause a big impact, just the right products, in less quantity than you think, in the right place (at the right time ; ) I touch up with the Maestro concealer throughout the night, under the eyes and around the nose.
