F/W 14 SEASON FAVOURITES
It's always good to do a recap on the things that you wore the most, that have become essentials in your wardrobe. So here comes my big post of must-haves.
A black sheepskin is one of those things that you may not think you want, but it becomes increasingly necessary as the weather turns cooler. It's very wearable, it looks sophisticated and it goes with everything, total wardrobe staple. I wear mine so much.
COAT: ISABEL MARANT
This is one of those things that I wasn't sure about because it's somewhere in between a cardigan and a coat. But I'm glad I got it because I love it, I have been wearing it on every opportunity I get. Under coats, over jackets. If I can make a space for it in my Winter layering schedule, I do.
It's been a tie between my Veda and my Rick Owens. The Veda was a pleasant surprise, it is really a gorgeous basic leather jacket. The Rick Owens is the queen of sexy jackets.
It's the season of the legging. Previously I wouldn't get anywhere near them, now they are a firm go-to.
I usually wear either the Helmut Lang Cocoon or the American Apparel Winter Legging.
SCARF: ISABEL MARANT (similar)
This is my favourite, favourite scarf! It's so comfortable, so easy, just big enough, makes everything look a bit cooler and a bit messier...Fantastic for Winter against black.
SWEATER: RAG & BONE
This top is just so easy but cool at the same time. It makes everything a little more boho, and goes with anything. I've worn it constantly
DRESS: ISABEL MARANT
I have the long-sleeve and the sleeveless version of this dress. I love them both, this one is definitely sexier. It is the dress that makes you believe in dresses. (on sale here and here. Remember it runs one size too small)
BAG: PROENZA SCHOULER
I have many favourite bags and I couldn't choose. That said, the indisputable winner for the title of Most Worn has to be the mini PS11.
For the title of most favourite most beautiful however, Betty wins!
It's been a tie.
I have to mention these because I can just throw them on whenever I see that it's rainy and I don't wanna think: Gothenburg wellies.
The Rag & Bone have been my most worn for sure. They have served me well when I wanted a heel but the weather was awful, as exemplified in the photo below:
As for the coolest and runner-up to most worn, my Saint Laurent still win. They are just the most beautiful casual boot, and also the most comfortable.
Without a doubt my Sergio Rossi platforms, I wear them so much. You know I don't like anything too prim and proper, these are kind of casual with the suede and the side knots, and they look great with both dresses and jeans
These ones are newer but they are already catching up with the popularity of my Sergio Rossi. Most comfortable, sexiest booties ever: Once again, Saint Laurent Paris. Rock n Roll
