Last week while I was still in full-on detox mode I went out with J, and he took me to a couple of places where they gave us some fantastic smoothies. This week, I've reintroduced alcohol into my diet, but I still find myself craving smoothies the most. Here are some of my favourites if you too would like to get hooked on something odd.
(I'm using a Philips HR2094 Aluminium Blender)
- 1 banana - A handful of frozen berries (alternatively, raspberry/blackberry/blueberry mix) - Half a cup of natural (unsweetened) probiotic yoghurt - The juice of one lemon - Agave nectar to sweeten to taste - About 3 cubes of ice to make it chilled and not so dense - Two teaspoons of Hemp
- 1 banana - A chunk of pinneapple - A handful of baby spinach - 1 cup of Oaty oats lactose-free milk - 1/4 cup of natural (unsweetened) probiotic yoghurt - Agave nectar to sweeten to taste - Vanilla extract - Ice as needed
Banana Oats (my breakfast smoothie)
- 1 banana - A quarter of a cup of organic natural oats - Half a cup of natural (unsweetened) probiotic yoghurt - Two teaspoons of organic honey - Half a cup of Oaty oats lactose-free milk - A sprinkle of cinammon
I also add two teaspoons of Hemp which doesn't alter the taste, it's the only natural add-on I've found that's actually very nice.
