Here's some hungover pictures of the day to demonstrate how good Charlotte Tilbury's makeup is. I have to say I'm super impressed, I love it. The eyeshadows are really really soft and pigmented, and have this sort of glow that I can only describe as Victoria's Secret. They just look incredibly luminous. And the colours are a lot more complex than it would seem: This is the Dolce Vita quad which to me was quite scary because I don't do tawny tones, but they actually go on very rosy and naturally bronze, they don't look orange at all. I'm wearing the two lighter shades from Dolce Vita on my eyes here, and her mascara.
RE: The mascara. I still have mixed feelings, it goes on pretty natural at first, but you can build it up, and it separates your lashes really well and you are able to work with it for a while. There is some smudging under the eyes during the day, which I don't get with Max Factor 2000 Calorie. I do like it, it might be a "grower".
I believe that most of the glow I have on my skin is coming from her Magic Cream! I've applied that as a primer and it is pretty awesome. My foundation is Giorgio Armani Maestro Fusion and lips are Kevyn Aucoin lipliner with Chanel lipgloss n.297
(I wasn't that hungover, I barely had a couple of piña coladas. I just haven't slept much, that's usually my problem when I go out, I go to bed at 6 and by 10 I'm awake, it sucks)
The pictures are natural light without flash, like you would see me during the day. If I were going to take pics with flash I'd have to add stuff, this would not be enough, but in person this looks great.
Here's some photo madness from last night.
Francesca looked amazing, she's a total pulp fiction doll
I was wearing my Pretty Woman ensemble with a silk cami. Well, not just a silk cami, my new favourite silk cami that I haven't taken off in the last two days. I got it in several colours and materials; it's by Topshop boutique and this one is the silk satin grey. Looks really good if you're blonde and you have blue eyes.
Skirt is a jersey thing by Zadig & Voltaire, and boots which you can't see are by & Other Stories and I LOVE them.
