Cupcake Season


I've gone on a bit of a cooking binge this week, it started with vegan recipes and it's ended up with a Red Velvet cake : P Baking is not my forte, and so I was very pleased with how these came out today. They are delicious. The frosting makes all the difference, too.

I followed the recipe from the Hummingbird bakery, that you can find online here. I'm gonna start giving them to friends before I eat them all.

PS- the red food coloring didn't work well, I used half the bottle and decided to stop there cause I don't really care what color they are! It intensified the brown for sure, but they're not red.
