I am milking this Winter for all its worth. And once I'm done, I'm outta here. Still so much to run through. Like my new favourite layer: The suede motorcycle jacket. It was such an obvious solution to the January drag and yet it took me years to figure out.

What better way to insulate oneself while still remaining biker chic, than to add a simple, sexy suede? It fits perfectly on top of your sweater x2 combo (especially if you buy a jacket 2 sizes too big), and it's lightweight enough to wear comfortably under your fur/parka/yeti mongolian cape.

Let's display the clothes the only way I know: Via a striptease. Ignore my expressions, my camera did not co-operate and I was p*ssed off.

First, there's fox. This kept us all warm even during the snowy precipitations we had here yesterday. I was, of course, out in Portobello market trying on embellished shorts during the snow storm. Whatever else to do, right??







Then...aaah the suede layer. This is great because you don't need to take it off if you don't want to. And I don't. Like in that song "You can keep your motorcycle jacket on" by Joe Cocker, I love that song.



THEN...a nice casual cashmere stripe sweater. Again pardon the french pout: it's not you, it's me. I flipped the photo to get the girl to look the other way, it was getting grating.



ALTERNATIVELY- I can't always commit to stripes, and for those days, any outfit can benefit from a smokin' Bowie:



Foundation: Brown turtleneck of course. You can easily get exposed-neck-fear in January, especially when your throat is your currency. I'm talking about singing. A scarf is all very well but a turtleneck guarantees you're covered.
