You know what I hate about Winter? it's not the wind that gives you teary eyes. It's not even the cold. It's the BAGGAGE. I supremely loathe the inordinate amount of crap I have to carry around, with and on me. Hat/fur coat/scarf/umbrella...these accesories by themselves are just darling, but all on top of each other? I can hardly think of anything else but the burden; I'm walking around in and out of buildings and I feel like a Christmas tree trying to keep hold on all its pieces. And today it was gloves too.

Ah gloves, I've tried to avoid them until now. You all know how much I love a glove, but rather when I'm naked, not when I'm in full attire of ski-wear. So this morning (-2ºC my god) I reluctantly put on the gloves, and took off my rings. Kept going back to my bedroom with the question "gloves or rings?" "gloves or rings???" and I finally settled on a compromise. I gathered my small, flat silver and diamond bands. I often dismiss them in favour of the big boys, i like my rings big -at least one of them-. But these are rings you can wear with gloves.
