I met Bana (17) at a casting yesterday and I was immediately drawn to her- she's a girl with a very vibrant energy. I approached her of course and today we did a test. Absolute pleasure of a girl! There is not one shot where she doesn't look stunning. I don't see why she wouldn't rock the commercial world, she's got it.

None of my makeup artists could come at such short notice so we did the makeup ourselves. Bana can draw a mean eyeliner line (which she did). Breakdown below:

- Foundation was tricky because i didn't have any her color and she didn't either. I ended up mixing a Chanel Pro Lumiere in #50 (which was too pink) and a Studio Fix Fluid in a dark color that she brought (it was her mom's). I panicked a little- exotic skins are so important to get right. But it worked out alright in the end. Her skin is flawless so it was just a matter of evening out a little.
- Eyes: She did her own eyeliner which she does exceptionally well
- Brows: I used a brown shadow mixed with a grey that she had in a compact
- Cheeks: Raspberry Bobbi Brown Pot
- Lips: I created a nude with MAC Modesty with Laura Mercier Blush gloss on top. Lipliner is Laura Mercier Chesnut

Styling-wise I brought my silver fox collar, Equipment grey shirt, brown Balenciaga jacket and Lot 78 leather jacket, necklace and bracelets and combined all that. I decided not to add any earrings, it would have just been too much. She's young so it looks cool this way.
