This was my last outfit of 2011. I was thrilled when I learned I was going to a mask party- wherever else does one have an opportunity for her custom leather masks? I actually took two. I managed to put a lot of my favourite things into this one.

The party in itself was very Peter Sellers "The Party", so much so I need not describe it further. In a good way! It's my favourite kind of thing.


MAKEUP

This is my standard smokey eye/red lip  but a little more dramatic.

Base: Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua in #20, which is the one I use for "serious" parties. It looks natural but lasts and photographs really well
NARS Laguna Bronzer on cheekbones

Eyes: Brows are Suqqu liquid brow pen which is amazing, I can't recommend it enough, it doesn't compare to anything else
YSL Waterproof eyeliner in Black, top and corners
Chanel Misty soft eyeshadows in a smokey shape
Chanel Black Ebony eyeshadow on the corner and outwards to intensify
NARS Mata Hari blush on the crease. I often add a little bit of this pink when I want more eye drama

NARS Red Lizard lipstick, MUFE waterproof liner (the bright red one)

HAIR

I prepped using Kerastase Elixir Ultime as usual. I let airdry. I used quite small hot rollers (the blue and white) from my Babyliss Pro set, and then set with Elnett Hairspray and left it be. I wanted it to look a little disheveled, which it did in about an hour.
