"WHAT THE FUCK are you doing. OH MY GOD, ARE YOU TRYING TO GET MY STUFF?? FUCK YOU! YEA, RUN! I LIVE RIGHT THERE! ME AND MY FRIENDS ARE GONNA FUCKING COME AND GET YOU!"
I am so scared to go out right now.
It was a black guy with a baseball cap and a bowler jacket on a bike. Opportunist most certainly, but watch out London people. This is one of the reasons why we shouldn't have bikes on pavements, it's so easy to grab something from someone on a bike. He was pulling until he fell off his bike and that's when the [transcription] happened. There was another guy (on foot) waiting for him on the corner. I've reported it etc...
I'm paranoid because I've never gotten mugged before, and it's one of those things you don't think is gonna happen to you, in the middle of Kensington.

Thank goodness you’re safe! (Wouldn’t know where else to go to for beautiful inspiration, style and otherwise, ha!). x
What a bastard! Oh my goodness! I’d be scared to death to go out after that…Glad nothing happen to you, Diana!
xx
Hey Di, glad you are okay and that the twit didn’t get away with your stuff! never mess with a blonde ninja ha
xx
God, I hope you’re okay.
We live in Pimlico and there’s usually a police presence – I think, because of the many dull arse politicians who live here. Still, I remember leaving the tube station late one night, a few years ago, and a black car (with darkened windows) followed me – literally, curb crawling – all the way home. I couldn’t see the driver and was absolutely terrified.
Keep safe, lovely, and have a (((big hug))) from me.

Yea, I don’t mind seeing the police around at all, I prefer it. haha. oh my God Sarah that is so scary. I’ve sometimes seen a dark car outside parked with someone inside (not an addison lee) and didn’t like it. Because even though there is nothing in my flat that anyone could sell for much, someone could spot me in my designer gear and think there is.
Police called back today cause I reported the attempt theft, and they’re coming over later to get some info which is good. I want them to know this is happening.
haha love you sandra!
Thank you Kimberly + Eve. I might switch up my clothes a little bit actually, I don’t want anyone to recognise me for a bit. I shouldn’t be so aggressive, it just poured out of my heart the moment someone took hold of my possessions
Omg! So glad you’re ok. What an asshole! This is so scary! I live in Irvine, California and it was voted the safest place in USA. It truly is. Cant belive it in Kensington? Wow! In the worse case scenario I would honestly miss your blog…
Oh shit Diana, stay safe!!! x
That really sucks! The one and only time I got mugged was in front of my place I used to live at, I was on my phone talking to my boyfriend while rummaging through my handbag trying to get the keys and that’s when it happened. Since then, I’ve been totally traumatized, never ever be unprepared and always be aware of your surroundings while holding onto your bag for dear life.
No way! that is so scary, I am always doing that. Well, everyone I guess. What did they do? Did they actually stop you and threaten you?? If these guys had done anything like that, I dont know what I would have done. I would have probably gotten hurt. I had the police over today and they told me this is happening a lot, and that its a gang of phone snatchers principally. That they probably wouldnt take my bag, and that theyre not violent. So in a way, thats a relief. But Ive definitely become more aware. Im one of those people who goes around with her bag wide open and her phone in her hand all the time. No more of that for me…
