Halloween celebrations started today for me. I really wanted to do a full get-up this year, so I got a victorian ghost dress, and did a quick hairstyle! Loved loved loved this outfit, it was so much fun.
(I'm going as the girl from Labyrinth after the masquerade ball falls down)
As much as I love clever outfits, my favorite is always a big fluffy dress or something ghostly. There's many other nights where I can wear cool headpieces and leather trousers, and even capes and tongue in cheek slogans. But the big fluffy broken dress..is a halloween privilege. Here's one where you can see how the whole thing falls:

Now, the hair...
I intended to use rollers and curl it all up into a proper victorian bush, but my plumber decided to show up just in time for me to have to cancel my lunch, and then I had literally 15 minutes to get ready. SO.
I'm wearing a clip-in Hairdo long hair extension in blonde, the one that makes a bump and gives volume. It's fantastic, it's literally all I had to do. Then, because I prefer to have something holding it up, I did a ponytail. I also added two braids at the sides. I used mousse, and lots of dry shampoo to give it texture and then a bit of hairspray. I admit, I don't find extensions comfortable ever, they pull, they hurt. I think I've worn this two times and only for photos or costume.
This is after the parties, so hairstyle is a little all over the place here, but I just wanted to show the diamante:

Makeup:
Super simple actually. Laura Mercier Natural Beige mineral foundation, Bobbi Brown Wine eyeshadow, Max Factor 2000 calorie mascara, Tom Ford Black Orchid lipstick.
Happy Halloween xxx
