TODAY WAS LEGGY

If you look closely you can see the chords to "Michele". Note to self: playing "Michele" with a major distorsion is a stupid, stupid idea.

I slipped out of my Repetto dancing shoes for a moment. As from now on we are going to refer to these sandals as "my shoes"

Rings are (left to right) Lola Rose Skylar ring, my white gold Peace ring, Alexander McQueen heart skull, Swarovski ring. I got this Swarovski ring almost 10 years ago and can you believe I've probably worn it twice?

This is me:

I love really simple outfits like this. It is sufficiently "me" but it's not ridiculous.

You know what's ridiculous? "Festival fashion", forever to be written in brackets. Why in the name of God would someone want to look like a desperate fake-folk groupie, I don't know. This whole movement started with hippies crafting their own clothes and sharing them with their boyfriends, as an anti-consumerism plot, as a response to mass-production. That is still the only way in which it is cool. And now look at it. The irony.

I'm going away to Italy on the weekend and then to Ibiza. I still have some posts coming though, that I haven't been able to upload because my Internet is crap. So you might see those at some point this week, even if my Twitter is full of references to how I'm trying my best to pretend I speak Italian.

I'm in an Internet cafe as we speak, downloading 12GB of a music file that is gonna take HOURS and getting bored out of my mind. Bored and hungry. I finished reading Caitlin Moran's How to Be A Woman. I need something else, light hearted (lazy), to put into my Kindle.

  1. Do you like Roald Dahl short stories? I’m taking some of those with me on holiday to Greece next week, along with Doris Lessing and Fitzgerald. Easy to read but not too mindless! x

  2. Sorry gals that took me a while, I never know how to answer comments on the go.

Roald Dahl short stories sounds great! I used to LOVE his books when I was little. Such fantasy, such imagination. I love him. I need to check out Lessing too. I think I’ve read all Fitzgerald..I love him.

Jade- Yea you should read it, it was funny, entertaining. Her and I are very different and we have different ways of being a woman, but at the end of the day, i agree with the point she’s making. She’s cool, it’s a good one. I actually read it again in this trip after i finished the last Jules Verne I was reading, and it was still funny/interesting.
