“Beauty is truth. Truth, beauty” Keats


Such thinking is orthodox in Platonic thought, Vedic or Taoism. It's present in all traditional schools of thought.

When Plato refers to the Absolut as 'kalon' or The Beautiful, he is making a statement that logically entails that of the poet Keats.

Why then, is the interrelation of the philosophy of beauty so alien to the modern mind?
